Jason Sprong

Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, Jason Sprong is the bridge between our US customers and Chinese manufacturing partners. His extensive knowledge and experience in manufacturing techniques and consumer product development sets him apart from the global sourcing community.
Jason's entrepreneurial drive, insight and understanding of Chinese business practices and negotiation skills effectively guides and supports our customers through the sourcing and manufacturing process.
Jason's international business experience began when he was employed by a major toy manufacturing firm to help with the acquisition of a Hong Kong trading company. After completing the take over, Jason ran the operations side of the business and was promoted as Director of Products for the company in 1996 where he was successful in generating $2 million dollars in sales to Toys R' Us.
In 1999, Jason transitioned on his own to start two new businesses: the first being his own toy company, and the second Turning Stone Pottery. He sold the toy company in 2001 and focused on Turning Stone where he successfully created, designed and sold products into Home Depot, Kmart, Wal-Mart, Target Stores and other mass market retailers.
Jason received his BA in Asian Studies and Chinese from Connecticut College, is a graduate of Nanjing University foreign students program, and winner of the Senior Award for Excellence in Asian Studies from Connecticut College. He is currently a member of the Colorado Chapter of Young Entrepreneurs Organization.
James Clark

James Clark has over 10 years' experience creating, managing and implementing strategic communications campaigns for consumer product and high-tech companies. He is responsible for the US-side of the company, ensuring customer satisfaction and leading the company's client relations, and marketing communications programs.
James plays a lead role in helping clients' executives and marketing teams rapidly examine and refine their market strategy, align communications and business goals, and establish communications priorities. He works as part of the Vital Sourcing team to devise market-leading positions, and more effectively plan for and respond to changing market conditions. James ensures the tactical execution programs are in cadence with the client's overall strategy.
James began his career in Denver, leading consumer product accounts for one of the area's largest marketing and public relations agencies. After joining Colorado State Parks in 1992, to spearhead the agency's Internet Presence Initiative, James then became a partner in Metzger Associates. As president and COO, Clark grew Metzger Associates to become the Rocky Mountain Region's largest public relations and investor relations firm while being recognized and listed on the Inc. 500 fastest growing companies and The Best Places to Work.
James serves on the communications steering committee for the Colorado March of Dimes, and is the communications chair for the Colorado Chapter of Young Entrepreneurs Organization in which he is also a member.
Jason Cormier

Jason Cormier has over 10 years' experience directing, creating and executing on marketing strategies and technical operations developed to maximize ROI for small to medium sized companies. He is responsible for the Channel Partner and Internet Communications programs for Vital Sourcing's select clients and referral sources. Jason also leads West Coast Sales in the US, and provides account management for key customers nationwide.
As an Operations Specialist for the US Navy in the early 90's, Jason spent most of his time in the south pacific - gaining a unique and prolonged exposure to Asian culture in both Hong Kong and Japan. His understanding of Asian culture and entrepreneurial business practices provides valuable insight to clients who are looking to China as a new sourcing means.
In 1996, Jason founded Flash Internet, Inc. and doubled the company's revenues over three successive years until selling it in early 2000. As Vice President of NetLojix Communications, Jason oversaw operations, sales and marketing for nearly three years - helping to lead a public technology company to profitability during the height of the "dot bomb" era. He is currently the Chairman of Business2order, Inc. and maintains a private consulting practice in Santa Barbara.
Todd Millette

Todd Millette's expertise and experience in logistics brings the level of assurance and comfort that companies need when choosing to source product from China. Todd's role is to oversee all operations specific to US and International logistics, including: export shipping, importing, custom clearance and quality assurance targeted towards maintaining operational excellence.
Todd possesses a unique and comprehensive understanding of how sourcing companies must differentiate themselves to succeed over the long run. By ensuring that detailed, profit-driven systems are in place -- Todd is a key component to keeping Vital competitive within the ultimate of cost-conscious business environments. He ensures that Vital clients are able to receive accurate costs and timely delivery on both small and large shipments.
Todd received his BA from University of Massachusetts in Communications in 1995, and co-founded Turning Stone Pottery in 1999 with Jason Sprong.
